Live Your Dream, and Just Do It.

Do you ever imagine about going in the space and see the Blue planet from there, see the galaxies and the stars? Well I guess everyone does it sometimes or did it in childhood. I have a little story about a kid who always wanted to be Stargazer, The kid full with the eyes full of dreams and mind with plenty of plans. These are the childhood days , in which someone has plenty of time to think and do whatever he want, can go beyond the imaginations and can dream about the impossibles. So as this kid was doing.

This particular kid, i am talking about, was very much fond of science and always wonders about the things around him. Curiosity in him was on heights and the dreams of being an stargazer were on peak. I believe "If you can dream it, You can get it." Same thing this kid believed in.

Once, there was a asteroid passing through the sky. It was a dark night , This little fella was looking at this shining thing in the sky. He was very happy to watch it and was feeling wonderful. He asked his parents, "What is it?" , They replied,"This is a Broken star." Well he had heard from his friends, that if you see some broken star in the sky, wish something , then you will finally get it. This little fella closed his eyes and prayed for peace and happiness for everyone around him. 

 Days passed, but this little fella was still thinking about that asteroid. He went to his grandma and asked her about the same. Grandparents always loves their grandchildren much more then their parents do. The grandma was a lady of old beliefs and used to love that kid a lot. As she didn't know much about the science that time and whatever she was told about the asteroids and comets in her childhood, was not good. So she said that kid,"It is not something you should see. These things are not good." This was her love because of which she told him that mythical stuff, which scientifically not correct. But that was all she knew about it. 

The kid, though loved to see the stars, aeroplanes and everything in the sky , got little scared. He believed on her grandma's thoughts. Then he stopped looking much in the sky at night because he didn't want to see some comet or asteroid again. Though his dream was still in his heart and whenever he gets a chance to see the sky full of stars he use to watch it , with his fingers crossed. 

As the time passed , the kid grew up, went to school, he got a lot of knowledge about space and the solar system. He felt funny about the old myths and told about the same to his grandma. She was also happy to know about that stuff. 

Time Changed, priorities changed, so as the goals. The kid then thought to become an aviator, then he became an engineer and finally settled down, with a good industrial job. One night, this fella was looking in the sky and was thinking about the stars and space. Then that little incident from the past popped up in his mind. He desperately wanted to see something from the space, live! Though there were plenty of websites available on the internet and especially NASA, where you can see the videos from the space, But his guy wanted to see something live. He wanted to see something from the space which he can track. It seems strange , why did he want to do that? What kind of happiness will he get out of it? Well mates! there are some emotions and feelings which you can never express, but can feel only. This guy ran to his computer , searched what can he see live. Then finally decided to track the satellites. Amazing! Even i like that! He noted down some of the sites and there orbits, timings and the azimuth angles , directions and plenty of stuff. He forgot all his work and was desperate to see the satellites , just to refresh the memories from the past and get a feel of his dream. He did it, tracked some satellites that night. He's still doing the same whenever he's getting time, because this was something he always wanted to do in his childhood.

This little story can very well tell you, no matter how much offsetted you are from your childhood dream, you can live that dream in one or the another manner. Always do what gives you happiness and pleasure. The stuff what this guy does really gives him some knowledge about the stars as well as gives him a chance to live his childhood dream, though it's not what exactly he wanted to be , but instead of living with an incomplete dream he does something which makes him close to that dream.

With time priorities and the aim changes, It's not what i have experienced, it's something which we all have experienced. So, never feel bad if your profession has changed from what your dream was, try to live that in some other form. You wanted to be Actor , but if you are an engineer, try modelling, if not that, pose yourself everywhere in the best groomed manner. If you are a Manager but you wanted to be doctor then participate in charity medical camps. Go in the rural areas with the team of doctors, organize camps, with the help of NGO's . I'm not saying you to do medical practice but you can spread awareness about the hygiene , health and happiness. Similarly you can choose an alternative.
