How can someone be so stupid that without knowing some individual, he can leave his family , friends and everything behind , just because he feels he's in love? Well I've met that kind of fella once.
This reminds me a day in January 2014, when i was in plane to Amsterdam. I had to join a ship from panama. Well, my journey begins from Delhi. From the office i got the flight details, had flights from Delhi to Cristobal via Mumbai then Amsterdam. I reached Mumbai in night and went to the terminal where i had to catch the plane. The flight was on time , i reached inside the plane. I made my self comfortable in my seat. I was expecting some hot chick to sit next to me, but what i had a guy from Kerala sitting next to me. I was little disappointed that in this long flight i don't have some blond or at least Indian girl sitting next to me. Still i had my dinner and thought to sleep.
I don't like to be rude to people , so i introduced myself to that fella , the boy introduced himself. That was fine, then finally i again thought to sleep. This time that fella started talking, Asked about my profession, then obviously I asked the same from him. Well, i came to know that the boy was some Graduate guy with some tourism diploma and had knowledge of french language. I like learning new languages , then we started talking about our places. certainly the boy was good guy but still for the cause he was flying didn't make any sense, I thought that was an act of immaturity.
He told me , that he met a girl from some country( i don't exactly remember the name) on facebook, had a long chat with her and they both are in love. Seriously?? I mean is that really possible? You simply start chatting with someone and within few hours or days you fall for her? I can say that as an affection, which can happen between friends and beloved ones, but the love he was talking about was not making sense. I thought he might be kidding, but hearing his intense feelings, i guess he was really in dilemma that he was in love.
Well that fella had already left home, with all his savings in his pocket. What about visa and meeting with her ?" I asked. The boy said;" I have contacted her while leaving home. She told me that visa is on arrival. Also she'll be helping me in settling down there." Whoa! I was surprised, "Is that so easy?" You just find someone random from facebook or some social networking site and blindly do all that mad stuff or this guy is taking it as a shortcut to get a green card?
This whole story of this boy was not letting me sleep as i was feeling like i must stop him from taking this wrong step which he had already taken. Well what all i could do was just tell him that seriously whatever he's doing is nothing but stupidity. But on the other end i didn't want to break his heart.
We reached Amsterdam Air port in Morning. There we had a flight after 4 hours so i was roaming around in the airport along with this fella . We were looking for some payphone as cellphone batteries weren't changed. Luckily i saw payphone but that could be used by some card stuff. Then i saw a charging port for cellphone. Bingo! I plugged my phone in and asked him to plug his, then the Dude told me that he forgot the charger at home. "What?? Then how will you contact with that girl after reaching there?" "I will drop message to her on facebook. She will come to pick me up." "But your cellphone is not working, right?" "Then, I will do it from yours." "I am not going in your flight buddy." "I am saying that i will do it right now via your cell phone . Then there she will come to pick me up. Its just 6 hours of the flight from here." The boy clarified. Can you believe this?
"Ok!" I said and gave that guy my cellphone. He dropped message to his so called lover. I was curious to know the end result of this story. I asked him to connect with me on facebook. I asked him if she would not come then what will he do? The boy said"I have money to buy my return ticket." "Cool!" i said. After having little breakfast there, we went on our flights.
After that i was thinking about that story, "What will happen, Will she come? Is she stupid or was that really love?" Then after joining the ship , I got indulged in the work and forgot about this guy. One day something reminded me of that story. I went on the internet to asked that fella what had happened after that? But when i checked his profile, he was back in his town, and was posting some sad posts. I was totally surprised. I knew that wasn't love. "Then why didn't i stop him?", I was asking myself , but still i was a bit relaxed as he was safe at home, otherwise something wrong would had happened. I still don't know what happened after reaching there with that guy, the girl was genuine or not; was there really a girl; or the love wasn't true. Whatever it was but then i realized, how some immature guy can make himself fool by misjudging his own feelings.
Fellas, this story tells how hard it is to believe on the person sitting on the other side of the internet. Don't blindly believe on someone; Don't misjudge your feelings. Well this story will surely gives some lesson especially to the young people.
